A small, easygoing dairy goat breed of West African ancestry known for rich milk, often born three or four at a time.

About the Nigerian Dwarf Goat

Nigerian dwarf goats are a miniature dairy breed with West African ancestors. Adults weigh 40 to 60 pounds and stand 16 to 20 inches tall. Their short coats come in many colors, including black, white, brown, red and gold. They can give up to two quarts of milk a day, and their milk has about 10 percent more protein and butterfat than most dairy goats' milk.[1]
